The studio Warner Bros. is supplementing the distribution for its Gothic version of the Little Red Riding Hood in which we will find a werewolf and a love triangle between teenagers.

Max Irons go, the son of the actor Jeremy Irons (who gained the public acclaim for playing twin gynecologists in the psychological thriller Dead Ringers directed by David Cronenberg in 1988), has just been recruited to play in the feature film whereas Gary Oldman (recently seen in Book of Eli, A Christmas Carol and The Dark Knight) and Julie Christie (seen in Away from Her and Finding Neverland) are in talks with the studio at the moment.

Catherine Hardwicke, the director for the popular movie Twilight, directs this feature film entitled The Girl With the Red Riding Hood. Amanda Seyfried (who was already seen four times this year in Letters to Juliet, Chloe, Dear John and Jennifer's Body and who will be seen in Marmaduke next June) already forms part of the distribution of the film which will follow a woman living in a medieval village who is terrorized by a werewolf. The actor Shiloh Fernandez (seen in the 2009 horror film Deadgirl), recruited a little earlier this week, will incarnate a logger for whom the character of Seyfried will fall in love to the great displeasure of his family.

Irons will play the part of Henri, the son of a blacksmith who, by the means of an arrangement, is judicious to be married to Seyfried.

Christie will incarnate the role of the grandmother of Seyfried whose pastime is to knit with silver needles. Oldman will lend his features to the father Soloman, a hunter whose mission will be to find and to kill the werewolf.
