A very new trailer for the upcoming horror movie Survival of the Dead, of course directed by George A. Romero, a new chapter of his saga featuring undead beings, has just made its appearance on the Internet.

The story line will proceed on an isolated island inhabited by two families which managed to maintain a pretense of order before the arrival of the holocaust zombie. The two clans of the island will be divided on the question of killing the undead beings or preserving them the loved beings afflicted in the hope to find a cure.

The distribution is in particular made up of Devon Bostick (seen last year in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Saw VI and Adoration), Kenneth Welsh, Alan Van Sprang, Kathleen Munroe, Athena Karkanis (seen in The Art of War II: Betrayal and Saw IV), Richard Fitzpatrick, and Stefano Colacitti.

George Romero, who began his saga featuring zombies with Night of the Living Dead in 1968, directed Diary of the Dead in 2007.

George A. Romero’ Survival of the Dead has been launched in video on demand, on Xbox Live and Playstation Online and on Amazon this Friday, April 30 and on a limited number of screens on May 28th, 2010.
