Since it was released in U.S. theaters on September 18, horror-thriller movie "Jennifer's Body" flopped painfully at the box office. After two weeks, the film only pulled in $12 million. Recently, the flick's leading star Megan Fox commented on possibility of her character, Jennifer Check, causing the lack of success, saying "It might be a complete failure on my part."
"But the fact that I had to really put myself out there is totally different than being able to hide behind the magic of ILM [Industrial Light and Magic, which did special effects for 'Transformers']," she told Nylon magazine's October issue in an interview, which was conducted before the film's release. "That's no hiding from anything. There's nothing there to distract you from my performance. So if it's bad, it's going to be f---ing bad for me. And if it's good, then I will have achieved something on some level."
Still in the same interview, the 23-year-old beauty talked about her 30-second making-out scene with Amanda Seyfried, stating "They slowed the film down or something. Amanda was extremely uncomfortable doing it, because she doesn't kiss girls. She hated it." Later, Fox continued telling Nylon, "I was way more comfortable with it than she was. And if I have to kiss a stranger for work, I would much rather it be a female than a male."
